Computer Science 61C – Lecture 34: Virtual Memory
Machine Structures Professor Dan Garcia – Professor Michael Franklin Link to lecture notes http://inst.eecs.berkeley.edu/~cs61c/fa11/lec/34/
Video Rating: 4 / 5
Part 2 video on how to take the gold from computer chips and refine it to a more pure metal and smelt it. DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME. See more at www.lifebuzzn.com.
Great lecture at least this compensates for the many many incompetent
profs
Awesome lecture!
Thanks a lot professor Mosby
Its direct-map cache you don’t have to search, not fully-associative. Computer
Science 61C – Lecture 34: Virtual Memory
Excellent lecture and i love the teacher’s attitude towards the occupy
movement =D
great professor!
This is a wonderful lecture. Thank you so much! I wish I could have been
there in person!
fantastic teacher… I wish someone taught me CS this way
there’s an error at 17:09 he should have said 1 mebibyte ram which is 1/4th
of the virtual address space and not 1 gigabyte which is actually 2.5 times
the virtual address space.
Great video I am in a computer organization and assembly language class and
it took you 45 min to explain the concepts the book does in 6 pages
needless to say it leaves out a lot of explanation glad your video was here
to fill in the gaps(essential gaps if you ask me) thanks again
i love how dan is so passionate about the lecture
Just out of curiosity (not criticizing), how much was all that equipment
and all those chemicals? it it worth it spending all that money for just
$75? Seems to me that you are spending way more than $75 right there, plus
the amount of time it takes, I guess all my computer parts are going
straight to the dumpster.
I already work in high purity aluminum casting, but I think I just found
myself a new hobby….
is it me or does it look like there was a lot more gold before he used the
acid stuff
too much work!!!
no way
will this if done differently or too much will this create a ‘mushroom
cloud’ and cover the whole neighborhood with it?
well what a downer man, it takes $120 of enough computer junk to only make
$80 worth of gold. Unless you own a scrap joint it is not worth it in my
opinion.
what store can i walk into and get urea and sodium metabisulphite?
Ive got more than 1000 RAMs (blanks) just with Goldfingers and some
Silverbase (?).
Cut the fingers all off in the days (1,250 Kilo RAM Goldfingers)
Man i hope there are 2 Grams in 100 pieces too, i will do it tomorrow ^^
Who ripped ass @ 3:02? lmao!!!
And the chemicals cost..?
Just out of curiosity, How much did the chemicals cost? Can you reuse any
of the chemicals? Out of the $80 worth of gold if you factor in the price
of the amount of chemicals you used how much did you actually profit on the
$80 worth of gold roughly?
Alchemy @ it’s best great video..
Yay, I got gold from my computer memory sticks… Now my computer don’t
work!
So you wasted money
why did you only use the fingers and not the entire chip?
how much memories have you used to get this 1,91g? +LifeBuzzN
Hi, I’m from down under, you know we’re that is. Could you tell me the
portions of liquid you add to each time you perform a certain stage, cheers
love you show and the person giggling.
i would love to make my self like mini ingot someday, i think people trow
away lots of these ram chips? usually see them everywhere so those could be
free in theory.
Hi Buzzn you didnt say the amounts of acid that you used? I was curious how
much of how much? thanks
Can you put gold plated pins and green/brown boards with gold plate in with
the fingers?
thank so much sir i will do that i interesting your video never have in my
country thank.
where do you get the nitric acid from
These videos were awesome guys! I learned a lot! its a shame I’m too lazy
to try it myself. I have hundreds of ram and computers laying around
because I am a computer repairman. Thanks for this awesome vid.
hi great videos, it shows me I can stock up on ram boards. but does this
work on motherboards as well?
My main concern however is how do you dispose of the acid?
