excellent video. Helped me a lot. Now both my connections r working at the same time with more bandwidth. Thnx a lot man
you must be rich if you can afford dsl and cable…. i can barely afford dsl :/
This video inspired me so I ordered a second 6mg ADSL line. I purchased a zoom DSAL modem/router but it only has one RJ45 output. Can I set the zoom in bridge mode, run that into my linksys router, and then run an output from the linksys onto a 1gig switch for the addition output I need?
pretty good that is what im trying to do , i was thinking its best to have the firewalls turned off on the second router ,thinking it would slow speeds so you only need the protection on your main router
@turbochip1208 you could try setting the advanced ipv4 settings to have *.*.1.1 and add a second gateway in that box for *.*.1.2
65mbs on regular broadband??
Nice presentation. I have two buildings relatively close together but far enough apart that I’m not running wire or a fiber pair. So I’m going to try to setup a wireless bridge between the buildings. The goal is that users in building 1 would use the router and internet for building 1 and users in building 2 would use the router and internet for building 2, But if either ISP went down, the users could fail over to the other building. Do you have any video’s that would walk through that?
plz tell me how can I use 2 wifi routers with one dsl modem
Wait so if I have to routers connected to each other can I use 1 for Wifi and the other for LAN?

@dukes20084 for DSL no.
this is probaly a already asked question, but could it work if you plug them into the same phone line and configure them that way?
do the wireless settings have to be set the same like a repeater (same nework name) or make them different. since i want all the computers to be able to print on same network.
great guide it helped me much thank you very much

@McIntec yes
awesome much appreciated. do the routers have to be connected via ethernet or can you connect them wirelessly?
@ZcsFilms so it functions more like a switch?
@McIntec to extend an ethernet cable to my blu-ray player
@ZcsFilms what do you use your dual routers for? Same concept?
