New at Summit Racing Equipment: PIAA Lighting

Tallmadge, OH (PRWEB) December 03, 2014

PIAA designs and makes a large range of halogen and high-intensity LED driving lights, fog lights, off-road lighting, and bulbs for cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Summit Racing offers a large selection of PIAA lighting products.

510 SMR Series Driving and Fog Lights

The 510 Series lights feature PIAA’s Super Multi-Surface Reflector (SMR) Technology and a computer-designed glass lens that create an extremely focused, long range light pattern. The 510 SMR Series lights have durable stamped steel housings and 55 watt Xtreme White halogen bulbs, and are sized to fit in the driving/fog light openings on many late model cars. The lights come with a wiring harness, a relay, a switch, and two mesh-style covers.

Xtreme White Plus Bulbs

These PIAA Xtreme White Plus light bulbs operate at 4,000 degrees Kelvin to provide a brilliant cool light that will light up road hazards and street signs long before a normal halogen bulb will. That bright light also provides improved depth perception and contrast compared to OE halogen bulbs. Summit Racing offers Xtreme White Plus bulbs for headlamps, fog/driving lights, taillights, turn signals, and other vehicle lighting.

800 HID Off-Road Driving Lamp

The 800 HID driving lamp was developed from experience working with World Rally Championship (WRC) race teams. The lamp has a computer-designed, multi-surface reflector to produce a very focused, long range 20° beam pattern—perfect for lighting a narrow trail or fire road. The 800 HID Lamp has a black stamped steel housing, a chrome plated trim ring, and a glass lens. A ballast is included. Definitely not for highway use.

1100X Sport/Touring Lamp Kits

If any vehicle needs some extra lighting help, it’s a motorcycle. These kits feature PIAA’s 1100X halogen driving lights with 55 watt Super White halogen bulbs that put out a strong white light with a 35° beam pattern to illuminate the road ahead. A wiring harness, relay, and switch are included. The 1100X Sport/Touring Lamp Kits are available for Honda, Ducati, and BMW touring bikes.

Summit Racing also carries other PIAA lights and bulbs plus silicone wiper blades, horns, light covers, and wiring harnesses.

Copier & Office Equipment Wholesaling in the US Industry Market Research Report from IBISWorld Has Been Updated

Copier & Office Equipment Wholesaling in the US Industry Market Research Report from IBISWorld Has Been Updated

New York, NY (PRWEB) December 29, 2013

The Copier and Office Equipment Wholesaling industry has suffered from tough market conditions over the five years to 2013. Low business sentiment and a decrease in the number of businesses after the recession reduced new and replacement office equipment demand, causing industry revenue to fall. During the recession, revenue marked its steepest decline, falling 9.8% and 17.5% in 2008 and 2009, respectively. Overall, revenue is estimated to decline at an annualized rate of 0.6% to $ 37.2 billion in the five years to 2013. Fortunately for the industry, demand conditions have slowly improved since 2010; as the US economy slowly began its recovery, the number of businesses and corporate profit rose. To this end, IBISWorld expects that revenue will increase 9.9% in 2013, aided by an increase in the number of new businesses and a rising business sentiment index, manifesting in greater demand for new office equipment.

According to IBISWorld Industry Analyst Zeeshan Haider, “In addition to weakened downstream demand, revenue for wholesalers has been hampered by the practice of wholesale bypass, whereby manufacturers forego wholesale distributors entirely and sell directly to retailers.” For example, point-of-sale equipment manufacturers like Dell and NCR Corporation have increasingly relied on direct sales models through their sales forces rather than distribution through wholesalers, reducing demand for operators. Manufacturers believe that vertically integrating and selling directly to end consumers, as opposed to using wholesalers and independent retailers, gives them a unique advantage in how they present their product to potential consumers, and it also allows them to record and quickly act on the feedback they receive. In response, industry players have sought out ways to mitigate losses caused by wholesale bypass, including automating their inventory control processes.

Despite these efforts, wholesale bypass is expected to continue restraining industry revenue growth in the five years to 2018. Nonetheless, “increasing demand and an improving business sentiment index will help the industry rebound marginally,” says Haider. As the economy recovers from its recessionary lows, the number of businesses and white-collar jobs are projected to rise through 2018, which will lead to higher sales.

James Schramko of SuperFastBusiness Discusses the Importance of Upgrading One’s Business Equipment and Environment in Latest Business Updates

James Schramko of SuperFastBusiness Discusses the Importance of Upgrading One’s Business Equipment and Environment in Latest Business Updates

James Schramko – Online Business Expert

Sydney, NSW (PRWEB) April 13, 2013

Office workers come in every day to desks and cubicles that are set up with everything they need for their daily tasks; entrepreneurs and business owners who work from home, on the other hand, are tasked with building their own work space, with some having greater success at the project than others. In two recent business update videos, SuperFastBusiness CEO James Schramko explores how environment affects business and provides helpful tips for creating a space that will enable people to crank out maximum productivity levels — and he shares his preferred top-of-the-line equipment for his business, too.

“One of the best ways to be more productive is to make sure that you surround yourself with all the right things to get the job done,” the CEO begins. He describes how his home office has a computer on a stand-up desk (where he can work while reducing the amount of time spent sitting down each day) as well as a sit-down desk where he can work when he needs to rest from standing. Because he regularly creates videos and podcasts for his websites such as SuperFastBusiness.com, FastWebFormula.com, SilverCircle.com, ThinkActGet.com and FreedomOcean.com, he requires outstanding audio-visual equipment and makes sure to have a good microphone, camera, and lighting ready for use at any time.

“I have up-to-date modern machines that work well, that are clean, that are fast. And I make sure that I eat well, and sleep well, and exercise.”

This practice of having a dedicated work space fitted with the best quality equipment and kept in proper order stems from the knowledge that one’s environment can truly dictate one’s performance. “I’ve been into people’s places and I’ve sat down at that old, little, dark, dingy corner desks stuffed full of CDs and DVDs and papers, and this clunky old Microsoft computer running Explorer that hasn’t been updated, never had the cache cleaned, and it’s a slow, clunky, old beast. In fact, some people don’t even have the fastest Internet they can have even if it’s available – which I don’t understand,” Schramko recalls.

These days, business owners can have fast, modern equipment for just a few thousand dollars — a small price to pay to become productive and serious about business. With the best computers, speedy Internet connection, and multimedia equipment, not to mention high quality furnishings such as the best quality chairs, desks, and large screens, anyone can experience working comfortably and efficiently in a well-equipped space.

To continue his productivity tips, another business update video from the seasoned Internet marketer showcased his personal choice of computing equipment: from using Apple’s MacBook Air and iMac computers (which he admits he has used to their very limits), Schramko announced his decision to upgrade to a new 13-inch MacBook Pro Retina. This laptop’s RAM can be made up to 8 gigabytes, its hard drive is 756 gigabytes, it can be used with an external 27-inch Thunderbolt screen, and it has the portability to fit into a backpack during travels. More importantly, the MacBook Pro Retina has the power and extra resolution that will enable the CEO to create, edit and render videos seamlessly.

“Get yourself the right gear and set your environment up for success,” Schramko encourages. “Remove the paper, remove the distractions, and when it all comes down to it, you know what you have to do: roll up your sleeves and do the work that’s gonna get you the results you want.”
