Superb Internet and OnApp Launch Turn-Key CloudPOD Service to Accelerate Cloud Services Provisioning

Superb Internet and OnApp Launch Turn-Key CloudPOD Service to Accelerate Cloud Services Provisioning

McLean (PRWEB) November 23, 2014

Superb Internet is pleased to announce that, in partnership with OnApp, any web host or organization can now easily and quickly build their own Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud. Utilizing the unique CloudPOD technologies from OnApp, Superb Internet and SuperMicro is the perfect combination of simple yet powerful management, and, exclusive to Superb Internet, with cost-effective InfiniBand network performance that is 40x faster than Gigabit Ethernet, and offers many fold lower latency than Ethernet, for truly unsurpassed performance.

Traditionally for a service provide to develop their own cloud platform, particularly one that is geographically distributed, would be extremely complex, time consuming and costly. Building out the right combination of hardware, infrastructure, connectivity and cloud software; not to mention finding the right data centers and network to partner with, was, to say the least, daunting, if not impossible, for many providers.

According to Superb Internet’s SVP of Marketing, Curtis R. Curtis, “Now thanks to the sophisticated CloudPOD offering from Superb Internet, that combines the unique OnApp cloud platform with Superb’s powerful IaaS infrastructure, worldwide exclusive rights to the cutting edge 10 Gigabit Ethernet surpassing InfiniBand technology, and industry-leading high availability coast-to-coast IP backbone, service provides can significantly accelerate their delivery of cloud services, no longer losing out to other larger providers that were able to build their own cloud services.”

Superb’s OnApp CloudPOD IaaS service offers service providers with such benefits as a fast , proven way to bring cloud hosting to their customers, beat their competitors using obsolete and costly centralized storage technology thanks to OnApp’s highly efficient distributed storage running on Superb’s exclusive InfiniBand network which greatly outperforms 10 Gigabit Ethernet, and to be live and selling services with pay-as-you-go or plan-based billing in as little as three days. The Superb CloudPOD service is backed by the very best high availability SLA in the industry, where the 100% uptime and zero packet loss is not only guaranteed, but actually delivered. Even the most demanding enterprise and government client base will have all of its compliance needs met due to Superb’s comprehensive certifications, compliances and audits, which include not only SSAE-16 (SOC-1), PCI-DSS and ITIL, but also the most sought-after International certifications: ISO 27001:2013 (Information Security Management) & ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management). Best of all, Superb’s unique lease-to-own model, as opposed to the typical “rent forever” model practiced by the competition, saves its customers up to 80% per month starting in their second year, as its lease-to-own customers only pay the colocation fees second year and on, when they own the hardware leased.

“For cloud service providers who don’t want to build, host and run their own platform, the Superb Internet CloudPOD packages are a great way to get to market fast,” said Kosten Metreweli, OnApp’s Chief Commercial Officer. “By combining InfiniBand networking technology with OnApp’s Integrated Storage, the Superb CloudPOD strikes the right balance between ultra high performance storage and affordability – and with a lease-to-own hardware model, provides even more flexibility for cloud providers on the infrastructure side.”

Now in just a matter of days a service provider can beat its competitors in cloud performance and resilience, utilizing OnApp Storage for modern single-point-of-failure-free and cost efficient distributed storage running on the superior 40 Gb/s InfiniBand technology, while delivering superior performance to competitors’ centralized storage/SAN (yesterday’s technology) based clouds, all alongisde being able to deliver better, more cost effective cloud solutions. Combined with easy incremental growth and expandability is no ceiling or limitation as to how big one can grow. No deployment, setup or integration required; everything is taken care of, with support included.

Lord of the Net Says “No” to Poor Customer Service

Lord of the Net Says “No” to Poor Customer Service

Rocklin, CA (PRWEB) March 02, 2012

“When I first began to use the Internet as a means for buying computer parts and accessories, companies were smaller than they are now,” said Lord of the Net’s founder and President, “and I always knew that I could find someone to talk to if I had a question or purchased a part that didn’t function properly. As these companies grew, I started to feel less like a valued customer and more like a number on a balance sheet.” In response LoTN LLC is opening it’s new online electronics and computer store LoTN – Lord of The Net!

Internet-based companies often become strained as their sales volume grows; the need to keep a variety of products in stock increases purchasing costs and cuts into customer service budgets. Some companies resort to impersonal and ineffective methods of support, such as overseas call centers that may have limited product knowledge. Lord of the Net wants to do better than that.

“To put it bluntly, I turned Lord of the Net into a computer parts and accessories company because I’d had too many awful experiences as a customer,” Lord of the Net’s founder continued. “I felt it was time for someone to step up and set a new standard for customer service in this industry.”

Lord of the Net sells a variety of computer parts for customers ranging from individuals to large businesses, including complete desktop and rack mount systems, processors, storage devices and memory. Regardless of the customer or purchase size, the company’s goal is to provide comprehensive, individualized service that larger computer companies abandoned long ago. Being an Intel Gold Partner and having relationships with some of the industry’s largest manufacturers such as Lenovo, ASUS, Western Digital and Seagate, Lord of the Net has the ability to maintain a stock of the latest components at the most competitive prices online.

Visit http://www.lordofthe.net to buy computer parts and shop online for products from Intel, AMD, D-Link, ViewSonic, Acer, Samsung, Western Digital, Seagate, OCZ and other leading computer hardware manufacturers.

Top six reasons for Merchants to choose YESpay?s card payment service in UK and Europe

Top six reasons for Merchants to choose YESpay’s card payment service in UK and Europe

London, UK (PRWeb UK) October 22, 2010

YESpay International, a fully managed EMV Chip and PIN and E-commerce (Internet) card payment service has already been providing card payment services in Europe including UK, Ireland and over 30 European countries for over 5 years, is presenting the top 6 main reasons for merchants to choose its card payment solution in UK and Europe.

Pre-accredited Pan-European EMV card payment solution eliminating merchants involvement in EMV certification
YESpay’s EMBOSS card payment service is pre-accredited with multi-acquirers in the UK and Europe (Barclaycard, Elavon, HSBC, Lloyds Cardnet, AIB, Streamline, Diners, American Express, HBOS, Bank of Ireland, Ulster Bank). YESpay has successfully completed the accreditation of its EMBOSS payment service with Elavon Merchant Services making it one of the leading UK companies to provide outsourced payment services across multiple countries. Approved with the Verifone Vx810 PIN Pad, EMBOSS supports both off-line and on-line PIN verification ensuring it can deal with all credit and debit card payments. Pan-European merchants can significantly reduce their costs for card processing by having a single merchant service agreement with Elavon and low monthly EMBOSS service costs.

Cost saving
YESpay charges a single ‘Setup fee’ per POS; (typically £40). Besides, merchants benefit from low on-going ‘fixed monthly fee’ per POS system or e-commerce website (between £15- £20) and NOT per click or per transaction charge. Included in the fixed monthly fees are our payment service, support and Help desk (24 hours) and online web-based reporting from the EMBOSS data centres.

PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry – Data Security Standard) Level 1 certified
PCI-DSS is a security standard that includes requirements for security management, policies, procedures and software design. Every business (acquiring bank, merchant or third party service provider) accepting card payments and storing, processing or transmitting payment card details must be PCI-DSS certified. For merchants, the compliance process can be costly and very long as several security standards and requirements need to be followed. With YESpay, companies can save up to 65% on their compliance costs and benefit from a high quality service and 24/7 support services. Indeed, outsourcing the card payment side of your business to YESpay helps to:

i. Reduce the scope of PCI-DSS requirements undertaken by the merchant. In most cases, a PCI-DSS self-certification is sufficient with the help of YESpay’s outsourced payment service as the merchant is entirely insulated from any sensitive cardholder details.

ii. Reduce costs related to PCI-DSS compliance. PCI-DSS is a set of on-going requirements that are subject to frequent updates, and YESpay will constantly update its service to comply with PCI-DSS. Using YESpay, the merchant is no longer concerned by the risk that the work he undertook to comply with PCI-DSS might be out-of-date because YESpay is taking care of it.

PA-DSS (Payment Application – Data Security Standard) certified
PA-DSS is a program aiming at helping payment software vendors develop secure payment applications that do not store prohibited data (full magnetic stripe, CVV2 or PIN data) and ensure their POS (point-of-sale) applications support compliance with PA-DSS. PA-DSS certification is required for POS application vendors that handle payments that are sold, distributed or licensed to third parties.

Though YESpay does not need to undergo PA-DSS certification as we are PCI-DSS level-1 certified, we undertake certification of our client payment applications to PA-DSS in order to bring even more confidence to merchants and POS software vendors. Together, YESpay’s PCI-DSS Level 1 and PA-DSS certifications ensure that in all cases, the point-of-sale software is freed from PA-DSS certification.

Point-to-Point (End-to-End) encryption
YESpay’s also provides point-to-point (sometimes also referred to as “end-to-end”) encryption from the card acceptance PIN pad devices all the way to its EMBOSS data centres. Our EasyV Terminal Payment application (PA-DSS compliant) communicates with the PIN pad over an SSL (Secure Socket Layer 128–bit 3DES encryption) encrypted LAN. All cardholder data on LAN is encrypted using SSL at the merchant (retailer) location eliminating card data exposure. The EasyVTerminal also uses SSL to send all card data encrypted to its remote EMBOSS data centres. As a matter of security and certification, applications in the retailer network (EPOS or others) are not exposed to the transmission or storage of any card data.

Encryption is achieved from the PIN pad level all the way to the remote EMBOSS data centres via the EasyV Terminal. Our solutions also support EMV Online PIN encryption for these countries that require this feature.

Tokenisation
Tokenisation is a process whereby a ‘token’ or card reference numbers are created by the EMBOSS Data Centre. These tokens are linked to credit/debit card details within EMBOSS compliant environment, and then provided to merchants.

The YESpay PCI-DSS certification authorises YESpay to store credit/debit card details securely; hence YESpay simplifies PCI-DSS as it stores card details in its data centres, on behalf of the merchant. YESpay allows the merchant indirect card information access with the creation of a ‘token’ linked to the card and passed on to the merchant.

YESpay offers two methods which are PCI-DSS certified and no storage of full card details is needed as YESpay handle card information:

i.    One way function token (SHA-1 Hash): EasyV Terminal (YESpay EFT payment client) returns a SHA1 hash of card number with every transaction response by default. This hash value can be used to identify a card uniquely. As the hash values are unique and cannot be re-engineered to create the original card numbers, this method is useful to analyse Customer’s/Cardholder’s trends and spend patterns throughout stores. Besides, it can help detect card fraudulent behaviours as one token refers to one credit/debit card number and excessive pending/refunding with cards can be followed. By using SHA-Hash, merchants can also identify cardholders picking up tickets or goods at kiosk.

ii.    YESpay proprietary token: Card tokens generated by YESpay enable recurring payments (such as subscription billing) and split/deferred payments. Later refund payments without storing card details are also possible.

About YESpay International Limited:

YESpay, a global card payments service company, provides highly secure Internet, EMV Chip & PIN, contactless and gift card payment processing services to independent and multi-chain merchants. Through EMBOSS™, the YESpay Managed Payment Service, merchants can quickly accept integrated card payments within EPOS, kiosks, hospitality and e-commerce systems with minimal capital investment and low on-going services costs. EMBOSS is an on-line IP-based payment processing service that has been generically pre-accredited by major Card Acquirers in Europe and North America (including Chase Paymentech, First Data Merchant Service (FDMS), Barclaycard Business, HSBC, HBOS, Lloyds Cardnet, Streamline, Ulster Bank, Elavon, PBS, Amex and Diners). In addition, the YESpay EMBOSS service is fully end to end certified to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) Level 1 as mandated by Visa and MasterCard. The YESpay EasyV-Suite of card payment products is innovative and cost-effective for EPOS, Kiosk, Hospitality, Mobile and Internet environments. With the YESpay EMBOSS card payment service, merchants can perform card payments in both card-present and card-not-present environments.

Hiring Filipino VAs Hassle Free: New ?Done for You? Recruiting Service

Hiring Filipino VAs Hassle Free: New “Done for You” Recruiting Service

John Jonas and wife Kim

Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) April 04, 2012

Hiring new employees is a daunting task, especially when a workforce is based overseas. The new ‘Done for You’ service offered by OnlineJobs.ph eliminates the tedious correspondence and time demands of recruiting. They provide an indispensable resource for outsourcing employers (and anyone who entertains the idea of outsourcing to the Philippines).

“Our ‘Done for You’ service provides a qualified and competent employee match for your business. We’ve developed this system to propel entrepreneurs into a successful outsourcing experience. Hiring Filipinos has never been easier, and it comes with a money-back guarantee,” says John Jonas, creator of OnlineJobs.ph.

The new service eliminates the stress of:

o    Sorting through thousands of resumes

o    Determining whether applicants are qualified

o    Working out time requirements

o    Settling salary demands

o    Arranging internet and computer services

It’s a simple process. First, OnlineJobs.ph reviews the employer’s list of job requirements. Next, they select several qualified applicants from 45,000+ resumes, based on the employer’s needs. Then they administer tests to each of the applicants to find the most proficient candidate. Finally, they work out salary and time requirements with most qualified applicant and send the information to the employer.

And while the ultimate goal of the service is to successfully match employers with ideal employee, OnlineJobs.ph guarantees money back if the employer is not satisfied.

“[OnlineJobs.ph’s] pre-found employees in the Philippines are the best. I tried before to hire internationally on my own and had poor results…Thank you so much, John Jonas and team, for putting together this invaluable resource,” says David Crenshaw, successful outsourcer through OnlineJobs.ph.

With over 45,000 Filipino resumes, OnlineJobs.com is the largest online marketplace for finding and hiring Filipino employees. Their expertise and ‘Done for You’ recruiting set employers up for successful outsourcing to the Philippines.

About the Company

Combined PC Support Services Inc. releases its On-Line Internet based PC and Software repair service.

Combined PC Support Services Inc. releases its On-Line Internet based PC and Software repair service.

(PRWEB) September 4, 2001

September 1st, 2001

Combined PC Support Services officially releases its Internet based On-Line PC Software Repair Services through its website My PC Crashed.Com. (http://www.mypccrashed.com)

We repair PC’s and software over the Internet. While, this concept is new to home computer users and small businesses, the technology is not. The IT departments in most of the larger firms in US that have distributed offices perform this service daily. But, this, as a consumer service is one of the newest things to hit the Internet.

This magic is done by using remote control technology that allows us to run the customers computer, while they watch, just like we were sitting there with them. The customer is always aware of everything the technician does and is in control at all times.

Our staff cleans files, removes programs, repairs broken files, replaces drivers, performs preventative maintenance and tests software, all, while the customer watches. We also install software and train users to use it, right on their own computer.

Our service can literally remove the damage done by years of software use, in less than one hour.

Our clients simply attach to our technicians via the net and watch while we perform a series of tests and repairs to bring your computer back to its maximum potential while cleaning up all those irritating software problems. This is not an automated service, as only a skilled PC technician can perform this manual restoration service. Our computer tech’s can repair almost any PC problem, as long as it doesn’t require a screwdriver.

If you have an older or underachieving computer, don’t throw it away. Let our experienced tech’s return it back to its days of glory and extend its useful lifespan. Also, you don’t have to unplug it and haul it across town to use our services.

There are a series of services outlined on our website at http://www.mypccrashed.com

If you need additional information, we can be contacted at our website by clicking on any of the “Live Customer Assistance” icons, or by phone at (770) 893-3799
