This allows for swift, simultaneous updates and control of a more broad and complex network.

The Pro Series High Power AC1750 Range Extender / Bridge features 4 different modes; Universal Range Extender Mode to extend the range of any network, Firewall Range Extender Mode is used to secure an extended network with firewall settings, Bridge Mode and WDS-Bridge mode for extending a WDS-AP network.

The ProSeries solutions support advanced security features with the ability to support up to 32 Wi-Fi networks, each with unique security and access configurations. Each Wi-Fi network features smart security features that allow for the isolation of connecting devices, bandwidth restrictions, network access restrictions, VLANs, max users settings, MAC filtering, access schedules and much more. The two gigabit ports on both the APR175P and the REB175P also feature customized VLAN settings and bandwidth controls. Intrusion detection systems and RADIUS servers (internal and external) are also provided for maximum security.

Deploying the ProSeries High Power Solutions is simple with Power over Ethernet support and magnetic or wall based mounting options. Graphical maps with customizable floor plans and coverage areas, along with analytics for each access point make installation and management easy for anyone.

Is Wireless Cell Phone, Computer, Internet Radiation Wifi Slowly Killing People Part 3

Qlink Pendant : www.emfnews.org Qlink Pendant Reviews: www.emfnews.org Home Radiation Protection : www.emfnews.org I learned that in February 1996, Congress had passed a law prohibiting local governments from denying permits for cell phone antennae because of environmental concerns – so long as they comply with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules. I also learned that the FCC had just issued regulations setting public exposure limits for microwave radiation at levels at least ten thousand times higher than levels which, according to the Environmental Protection Agency, were causing reports of illness from all over the world. Levels that are at least ten thousand times higher than the levels that had forced me to leave behind my home, my family, and my friends, and to run for my life, never to be able to return home again. The Cellular Phone Task Force, along with over 50 other grass roots organisations and individuals around the US, became involved in a legal challenge of the FCC’s absurd standards and its pre-emption of local control. This was taken all the way to the US Supreme Court. Dozens of cities, towns and public officials, including several US senators and representatives, submitted briefs urging the High Court to hear our case. But in January 2001, the Supreme Court, without comment, declined. You will hear statements by supposed experts – always the same few, in the pay of the telecommunications industry – to the effect that cell phones/cell towers

Secure your WIFI Network

Report by Lindsay Newman

Securing your WiFi network is an essential step to avert a malicious user to steal your wireless connection. Right here are the steps to follow:

Modify the user password of your wireless routerAccessing the configuration utility of your router is secured with an username and a password. This page is reachable by entering the IP address of your router in your browser (eg 192.168..1). The 1st step to protect your new Wi-Fi therefore is to alter the password by going to the alternative to alter it.

Set your network name(SSID)All Wi-Fi networks have a name: the SSID (Service Set IDentifier). The second step is to alter the name and hide it from the sight of malicious customers. In the configuration utility for your router, alter the default SSID name, avoiding either too simple. Then disable the SSIDbroadcast of your wireless network by choosing the suitable box. This will stop it from appearing in the list of attainable connections to your neighbors.

Allow encryption on your network (security crucial)Prior to using your wireless network, it is reccommended to encrypt it with an alphanumerical crucial to only enable authorized customers to access your network. Two principal kinds of encoding data at present exist: WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) and WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access). If your router and your wireless adapters support it, the recommendation is to opt for WPA with an encryption important “pre-shared”. Nevertheless, if your gear does not help WPA, then allow WEP. Never operate a wireless network with no employing 1 of these protocols. Handling is straightforward because the digital encryption is produced from a passphrase. You need to enter a passphrase of at least five letters or words in the boxes, and the router will propagate a various code. For stronger security, use upto 23 characters (including upper and lower case, digits, other characters) and stay away from words or phrases. This mixture tends to make hacking your password very difficult. Bear in mind to write down your encryption important (when is enough) because you will call for it to setup every single pc on the network.

Filter MAC addressesDevices (Pc, PDA, mobile telephone, laptop, ipad) connected to a wireless network have a network card fitted to a particular address: MAC address (irrespective of this, a computer is defined by its IP address). In the configuration utility of your router, you ought to activate the filter option and enter the MAC addresses of every device. Therefore only these devices (known on the network by their MAC address) can access the network.

Configure wireless machinesFor every machine to connect to the network you ought to specify the information listed above immediately after setting up your router. You ought to adjust the SSID to match the one you specified for the router, and enter the digital encryption important that was specified in the router configuration utility. When completed, your device will be in a position to connect to the router and the Net.

Allow File SharingTo share files between computers and peripherals connected to your WiFi network, you need to enable file sharing. The sharing process is straightforward in Windows XP. Choose “Manage Panel”, then “Network Connections” and click on “Develop a residence network or a corporate network”. Select “This laptop or computer connects to the Internet via one more computer on my residence network or by way of a residential gateway”. The connection wizard will detect your connection to the Web.

To share a folder with Windows XP, right click on the folder in question, then select “Sharing and Security” and tick the alternative “Share this folder”. To then access all shared folders from any machine on the network, click “Begin” then “Favorites Network”. The technique is similar for adding a printer on a network: on the pc that the printer is straight connected, go to the Start off menu, then “Printers and Faxes” then correct-click on the printer and installed choose “Share”.

Cordless Phones Wellness Rsks : www.emfnews.org Blue tube headset : www.emfnews.org Because there are practically no workplaces without computers any more, I have not held a job since 1990. I had resigned myself to living on Social Security Disability, and learned, together with other members of a support group I had discovered, how greatest to live with my disability. This mostly meant studying to avoid exposure to electromagnetic fields. But in July 1996, to my dismay, I learned that an innovation was coming to my city, which threatened to make it impossible to steer clear of exposure any much more. At that time, cell phones were nonetheless a luxury item that only worked in some places. Folks were not accustomed to staying connected whenever they left their residence, and even at house most nonetheless had a cord, not an antenna, attached to their telephone. Most were not accustomed to holding devices that emit microwave radiation subsequent to their brain. In 1996, the telecommunications business began a marketing and advertising campaign created to alter all that. For Christmas that year, all more than the country, digital cell phones were going to be on a lot of shopping lists. And to make them more practical, tens of thousands of antennae were going to be erected on towers, buildings, church steeples and lampposts all more than the country prior to Christmas, and hundreds of thousands far more in the course of the next couple of years. In response to this emergency, a few buddies and I produced the Cellular Phone Task Force, and contacted all the public

Then, whilst on a surgery rotation, I suffered crippling pains in my hips, producing it difficult to help in operations. My heart rate slowed to less than 50. 1 day I collapsed and was unable to get up. My chest hurt, and I could not get sufficient breath. I was sure I was having a heart attack.
