Oostende, Belgium (PRWEB) February 9, 2006

SodeX released in a Belgian-Palestinian joint venture the English-Arabic downloadsite

“Why not creating a downloadsite for the Arabic community”. This comment was sent to SodeX – a Belgian internet-group – director mr. D. The arabic community is a big community with millions of people, wanting to explore the internet as well.

“Localizing websites is very important to create good, and active communities. With the launch of, we don’t just want to translate program descriptions. The goal is to create a community that can help each other out with computer/internet problems in their own language. A software downloadsite is a first important step in this progress.”

According to mr. S, whose responsibility is the translation of program descriptions this site also wants to mean something to the Arabic community. “In the near future, we will put small advertisements on this site. This has 2 goals: 1) Being able to pay our bills when we speak of server and bandwidth costs and 2) Donating to charity organisations in the Palestinian region.”

The site has already lots of program descriptions translated and over 1500 programs on the waiting queue.
