Justin Bieber was largely credited for helping One Direction gain popularity in the US, but data from Europe’s largest ticket marketplace, viagogo, suggests he won’t need their support in the UK when tickets for the Justin Bieber ‘Believe’ tour go on sale this Friday.

In the past four days alone viagogo has seen a 216 per cent increase in searches to see every teen’s dream “boyfriend” live on stage. ‘Just in’ one week, viagogo has seen higher demand for Bieber than the site has experienced for JLS and The Wanted combined.

Ticket demand has already surpassed that for One Direction’s tour next year, with Bieber proving five times more popular on the site than the “Gotta be You” boys.

“One Direction will soon be returning home after charming America, but our data shows that Bieber is currently more popular than the whole band put together. They’ll have to pull out all the stops to compete with Bieber Fever which looks set to reach boiling point in the UK!”

US Senator Joseph Lieberman has pressured web organizations to withdraw their services from WikiLeaks. Rather than protect world wide web freedom, Amazon and PayPal have willingly complied with US demands. Assange is the subject of death threats. Some government officials say he must be assassinated. Sarah Palin mentioned he should be hunted down like a terrorist. Efforts to take down WikiLeaks have verified futile, thanks to mirror web sites. Meanwhile, Assange has been arrested in the UK on rape charges. He has vowed to release a lot more documents in a ‘nuclear’ option if arrested or killed.
