Future Technology and Computing Examined by New Company, Contechnology AG

Microsoft Google Fight

Zurich, Switzerland (PRWEB) July 23, 2009

Contechnology AG, a company focused on the development of products and applications in the arenas of computing and other future technology, announces its recent launch. The company is currently polling visitors to its site regarding the state of the computing industry in the United States and the major companies within the industry.

“The U.S. content industry is losing billions of dollars while the major players in the country’s computing industry are involved in a type of civil war. That should make U.S. taxpayers scared,” says Michael Jones of Contechnology AG. “We believe the war between Microsoft and Google is going to destroy the industry, and that a third party will be the victor. The question is — is the U.S. computing industry clever enough to catch the last seconds before this new power emerges? At Contechnology.com, visitors can use the power of opinion to stop this war before it’s too late.”

Contechnology AG believes the war between two equally strong giants cannot be won by conventional means; only a secret weapon can define the winner. However, if the giants fighting the war do not see what is really going on, than the secret weapon can be taken over by a third party.

In 2005, patents to protect the total elimination of today’s computing were filed. Now, Contechnology AG is moving to land the jackpot that is this brand new technology. Contechnology AG is pushing through, step by step, the new art of communication, dataflow and computing, technology that is — by itself — beating the MIT dream of cheap computers. The new technology eliminates enduser licenses while giving content and software owners a secured revenue stream.

Cutting the Middle Man Out – Affordable Technology for the “Green” Consumer

Cutting the Middle Man Out – Affordable Technology for the “Green” Consumer

Retail technology at wholesale prices

Long Island, NY (PRWEB) May 08, 2011

As consumers we have come to terms with the fact that in order to purchase almost any product whether a shaving razor or an SUV somewhere along the line there is a distributor, agent, or sales representative standing between you and the source of that commodity. Wouldn’t it be ideal that if instead of haggling for hours with a car salesman over inflated prices one could just walk up to the factory and pay the just price?

For the past decade National Computer Liquidators has been supplying the largest technology resellers in America with refurbished computers that ultimately end up in the homes and businesses of those who are seeking more affordable computer hardware solutions. Now the company is making an aggressive push to deliver these same quality products directly to the consumer through its new venture Innovative Computer Products.

When asked about the challenges of transitioning a business focused on wholesale distribution to that of retail outlet centered around one on one customer service Vice President of Sales Richy George responded “In reality the infrastructure is in place already. Our plan is to shift the focus of our quality representatives, and build on the positive reputation we have developed with our enterprise clients and wholesale partners”. He added “The greatest challenge right now is getting the word out that this opportunity to purchase cheap computers,laptops and other computer equipment exists. Our staff is well prepared and knowledgeable enough to comfortably handle the customer service and logistics associated with the transition”.

It is not to say that National Computer Liquidators will cease delivering massive quantities of refurbished apple computers, refurbished laptops, and other used other computer equipment through wholesale channels rather Mr. George continues “We will still distribute through our partner channels, but our focus today is to offer the business and consumer community an affordable means to connecting to the internet and meeting all other possible computing needs. “

Innovative Computer Products is able to offer such competitive pricing by acquiring their entire inventory of used computers directly from primary sources. The retired and off-lease equipment is acquired from businesses liquidating computer equipment in bulk quantities. The equipment is thoroughly cleaned, repaired, refurbished, tested by experienced and skilled technicians, guaranteed to perform like new, and given an industry leading warranty by Innovative Computer Products.

When discussing the overall business model Mr. George commented “It is truly an environmentally responsible business, we are working hard every day to ensure technology is reused and the public understands the value in avoiding careless disregard of perfectly sustainable technology”.

The consumer clearly benefits when offered the opportunity to connect directly with the source of any product, and today’s socially responsible buyer is sure to be won over by the idea of saving “green” while being “green”.

On Buying Cheap Computers

Article by Edwina Trevino

If my computing needs are modest and my budget is tight what do I do? Is it possible for me to find a choice from among cheap computers that will enable me to browse, email, do photo editing and spreadsheet tracking? Well, the answer is a big yes. The great news is, today you can get used and refurbished computers in good working condition at great bargain prices. There is no need for you to spend a fortune by buying a new one from among the highly hyped top of the line brands if a refurbished machine does the job good enough for you. But before you hop in to buy the first cheap computer that comes to your notice, take note of the following important pointers.

Evaluate the Processor

A processor is the heart of a computer. So when you are assessing cheap computers look for Dual-core processors, specifically the AMD Athlon X2 or Intel Pentium Dual Core Models. Though single core processors can throw up dirt cheap models, Dual-core types will stand you in good stead for multi-tasking jobs.

Get to know the operating system in the refurbished computer. The operating system also referred to as O/S, is the master brain of a computer that controls the hardware, controls the software and provides you with the means to control the computer.

Select a RAM of at least 2GB capacity. A lesser one will slow down your system considerably.

Assess Hard Disk Storage

Good news is you can get cheap computers at bargain prices having storage capacity of 250-400 GB. Anything less than that will be inadequate for tasks such as downloading photos, listening to music, and watching videos. Do not forget to look for a computer having the DVD burning feature.

Weigh In the Peripherals

You may need a monitor, a key board and a mouse unless you have all these from your previous set. You may get a budget set with all these items at bargain prices. Even if you do not, hardware accessories are always available at very reasonable prices, so keep a tag to budget for these items.

Choose the Right Software

When you are zeroing your choice from among the cheap computers, select the software applications you need carefully. Software applications are the basic guides of your computer. Ensure the software versions you buy are compliant with the operating system installed with the refurbished computer.

The computers market will usually display the following three ranges of computer systems.

* Standard computer

* Mid-range computer

* High-end computer

Cheap computers generally fall into the standard category. Yet, entrepreneurs for their business needs can spot refurbished mid-range and high end computers by bargain hunting. Create your own specification suited to your needs and then shop around a bit. Do not forget to look for the following.

* Money-Back Guarantee: Understand the return policy of your cheap computers seller because you may change your mind any time after you buy an item.

* Warrantee: Do not buy one unless it has a warrantee for the components and labor.

Discontinued Models

Manufacturers often have brand new laptop computers that did not sell. These are referred to as discontinued models. If you are not a stickler for latest brands, getting an inexpensive discontinued model is not a bad idea at all.

Whichever way, the cheap computers market is flooded with umpteen models and brands. You can be sure there is one for your needs.
