Remote Desktop Over Internet on Windows 7(Step by Step Detailed Tutorial)
This is a demonstration of remote desktop over internet so that a computer can be accessed at a remote location without having to go into that location and use the computer as if we were sitting in front of that computer. This Tutorial is done on computers both using Windows 7 Professional but the procedure is just the same on different version of windows that offer remote desktop. Here I am using dynamic IP for the computer to which the port is being forwarded but it is really easy to change that to static so that you donot have to worry about ever changing dynamic IPs. You can just google it. Its easy. Also for security reason you might want to change the default port that remote desktop uses which is 3389. I will put how to do so in my future video. Please let me know if you have any questions and I will try answer them to the best of my knowledge. Thank You Najir Pandey
Wouldn’t you need to set you IP to static so every time you shut off it doesn’t change on you when you turn it off and back on… Unless you want to keep checking for the IP on it then going back to remotely connect to it ….
join.me is better and you dont have to set any of this shit up…..what a waist of time….lol
Will this work if the computer being accessed has a “No-Ip domain” to deal with dynamic ips? would i just type the domain rather than the ip of the accessed computer?
er dislike?i cant really understand what he said plus he seem to like well no comment there on his breath ==”(im wearing headphone to hear other people voices)

Please review audio before posting videos. It’s too quiet to listen to. It could have been an informative video but I can’t understand a word you are saying.
get your ears checked. more than 49,000 viewers were able to hear just fine.
may be you need your eyes checked too. I have uploaded hd video and have not edited any step. Were you not able to see it and follow?
if both your eyes and ears are fine, then quit using computer. i have a feeling computers are not for you.
Next time, try speaking more softly and a lot lower, so that NOBODY CAN FUCKING UNDERSTAND YOU
why do you keep refreshing from your ‘dextop?’ Its a trait followed by mostly Asians, and there is no benefit unless your dextop is cluttered
The BEST way to control another computer remotely and for FREE LOGMEIN.COM. They give a free trial for one month that allows you to control all functions on any laptop or computer including transferring files and hearing audio from the remote computer. After the one month trial, you can still keep it for free, the only function you lose is the ability to transfer files. Hope this helps: gonzoknowhow at yahoo.com. Very secure.
Your voice is amazing
thanks for the guide.
Thank you so much for this video. I just successfully completed this method with my Asus router. Now I need to figure out how to wake_up my PC so that it doesn’t have to always remain on. Maybe the router can do this when forwarding? I dunno.
I can connect my remote desktop with my home network without problem, but not over the internet… even I followed the your steps in you tutorial…
shhooo , u are shushhing winshhows shheven ?
Thanks for upload.
Great tut!
Only 1 question. I have done everything perfectly went through double checked and everything, but I get a error saying cant connect to computer. My firewall is off and I opened DMZ even on router. Its like it wont even find the pc. I can ping IP just fine. Any Ideas? Thank You!
or you can use Logmein or Teamviewer – Go to my PC VNC
I get all the way to the login box and I know the login but it kicks me out when I try to login.
Default username and password for the router? Well it depends on the make and mode of the router or if you’ve changed it before. Whatever router you have you can google search for default username and password for that router. If you have linksys, mostly both username and password is admin. Now, if the default info has been changed then you can hit reset button on the router which will change your username, password including your SSID and wieless password to default.
Well port forwarding should be done for the computer that you want to access. So for that you go to the router on which that computer is connected and forward port 3389 to the computer’s ip. Don’t forget to enable remote desktop on that computer. Now on the computer that you want to access others computers from all you have to do is run remote desktop client and start typing staticip:3389. No configurations needed on router.
