Computer Specialists with Mobile Developer Skills in Demand in 2011

Computer Specialists with Mobile Developer Skills in Demand in 2011

New York, NY (PRWEB) August 08, 2011

Over the past 90 days, more than 33,000 new jobs were advertised online for Computer Specialists with mobile skills, according to WANTED Analytics™ (http://www.wantedanalytics.com), the leading source of real-time business intelligence for the talent marketplace. With a rising number of companies developing mobile applications and mobile-friendly websites, hiring demand has increased 76% since the same 90-day period in 2010 and 33% since the beginning of the year.

Web Developers were the most common occupation to require these mobile skills, with more than 8,600 jobs advertised online. Computer Software Engineers are also highly demanded, with recruiters placing more than 7,900 new online job ads that included requirements for mobile skills. Other Computer Specialist occupations that saw high volumes of job ads over the 90-day period were Computer Systems Analysts, Computer Support Specialists and Software Quality Assurance Engineers and Testers.

Recruiting conditions will be moderately difficult across the US, since Computer Specialists are highly in demand. However, recruiters will experience varying degrees of difficulty sourcing for specialists with mobile skills based upon the available talent supply in each location. For example, Recruiters in New York placed the highest volume of ads over this 90-day period. According to the Hiring Scale™, there are approximately 8 potential candidates in the New York workforce per job ad. In comparison, the talent pool in the city with the third highest demand, San Francisco, consists of about 13 potential candidates per job ad over this period. Since their talent pool is relatively larger, recruiters there are likely to experience easier conditions when sourcing candidates for open positions.

The Hiring Scale measures conditions in local job markets by comparing hiring demand and labor supply. The Hiring Scale is part of the WANTED Analytics platform that offers business intelligence for the talent marketplace.

RO|Innovation Announces Latest Version of Mobile Lead Generation App for Trade Shows

RO|Innovation Announces Latest Version of Mobile Lead Generation App for Trade Shows

Denver, CO (PRWEB) November 05, 2012

Sales enablement software pioneer RO|Innovation is proud to announce its latest mobile offering, the RO|Sales Enablement App for the Apple iPad. Designed with the needs of trade show teams in mind, the RO|Sales Enablement App streamlines the process for capturing and qualifying leads while offering robust content distribution and tracking capabilities. Custom integration with lead management systems allows exhibitors to immediately gather and leverage sales intelligence, regardless of their location.

Market-leading companies such as EMC Corporation have already embraced RO|Innovation’s solution. “Leveraging RO|Innovation’s technology allows us to streamline our process for capturing a prospect’s data while engaging them in a meaningful dialogue,” said Marie Ross, EMC’s Director of Customer Marketing and References. “Having key marketing assets readily available allows our sales team to instantly access and send the information their prospects need to make purchasing decisions.”

The RO|Sales Enablement App allows booth reps to capture lead data onsite using their iPad or other tablet device. They can also queue delivery of marketing collateral to prospects via “Spotlights” (micro-sites containing information tailored to the needs of your business) which can be set up to auto-send when the device is connected to the Internet. By tracking prospect engagement and viewing behaviors, exhibitors can create custom follow-up activities. Lead data is automatically collected, stored and forwarded to a company’s lead management system, based on their specific requirements.

The RO|Sales Enablement App was developed as an extension of the RO|Enablement platform that Fortune 500 Companies such as Phillips rely on to manage their marketing and customer reference program. “The RO|Sales Enablement App evolved in direct response to our clients’ requests for a robust lead generation solution that offered the ability to gather and leverage sales intelligence at their trade shows,” said Jim Mooney, Founder and CEO of RO|Innovation. “It enables companies to pinpoint their best prospects and continue their conversation with them beyond the trade show floor.”

About RO|Innovation

Since 2002, RO|Innovation has developed applications that address challenges in the sales, marketing and customer reference landscape. From robust technology that optimizes and simplifies customer reference workflow to sales enablement tools that streamline the sales process, RO|Innovation drives peak business performance. You can connect your mobile phone to your computer using your USB cable or bluetooth dongle, where your mobile will be considered as your modem so that you can surf internet on your PC using your GPRS/EDGE signals, you need not use your PC suite but you need to simply install it so that your modem/mobile drivers get installed how to do this is shown clearly in the video the important part of it is not creating connection but entering an extra initialization text as shown in the video which is for the ones who have problems connecting, 50% of the problems are solved using this Please note: enter the extra initialization text only if you are having tough problems connecting otherwise it is not required at all. make sure that you select Internet/Web/PC setting in your phone and not your WAP/mobile setting (which you use for surfing internet only in your phone and not for PC) and note down your APN (PC apn and not mobile apn) which you need to enter in your PC too. All APN’s and dail nos. have been changed by now by the network operators, the foll. is the list, also note some very few networks do not have APN Vodafone: www *99**1*1# Vodafone_Jaipur: portalnmms *99**1*1# Tata Docomo: TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET *99**1*1# Uninor: Uninor *99# Aircel: aircelgprs *99**1*1# Aircel TN: aircelgprs.po *99**1*1# Aircel Chennai postpaid: aircelgprs.po *99**1*1# Aircel Chennai prepaid: aircelgprs.pr *99**1*1# Aircel East: aircelwebpost *99**1*1# AirTel: Airtelgprs.com *99**1*1# BSNL/Cellone

Shareprice.co.uk Boosts Mobile Trading With Launch Of New Android Share Trading App

Shareprice.co.uk Boosts Mobile Trading With Launch Of New Android Share Trading App

London, UK (PRWEB UK) 16 August 2011

SharePrice, the provider of web and mobile apps for investors wanting to trade and monitor the stock market, has today released an Android version that supports its recently launched share dealing service.

Earlier this month SharePrice launched the first bespoke iPad trading App, and the facility has had impressive take-up, being one of the top 5 downloads in the Finance category. SharePrice also recently extended its £5 commission per trade offer to the end of August* and now thousands more investors will be able to trade shares, investment trusts and ETFs direct from the live prices site on their Android device.

Tim Huckle, Chief Technology Officer at SharePrice.co.uk, said:

“This new Android App is further proof of our continued focus on the development of mobile initiatives. Our users want to be able to use their smart-phones and tablets as their primary interface with the stock markets, rather than rely on their desk top computers.

“Large numbers of traders are already utilising mobile trading facilities. Nearly 50% of our equity trades are being executed from mobile devices. And when you consider that yesterday, shares on the FTSE experienced swings of as much as 7%, the value of accessing real-time information in the palm of your hand has never been greater.”

SharePrice.co.uk also allows traders the option to link their SharePrice.co.uk profile to their Facebook page or Twitter account. They can then automatically notify friends of their latest trades, a first for share trading websites.

Images of the new app are available on request. Media contact details below.

*From 1 September the charge will revert to £10 flat fee for real-time UK trades with no inactivity or administration charges.
