Computer Cable Store? Announces Their Latest Segment of Computer Cables

Computer Cable Store™ Announces Their Latest Segment of Computer Cables

Quakertown, Pa (PRWEB) July 25, 2014

Trend reviewers have named Computer Cable Store™ as an online hardware store with a very high query rate in Google’s search index. At a recent conference Computer Cable Store™ announced the release of their segment of Networx™ computer cables.

“When Computer Cable Store™ first conceived the idea of serving a wider consumer base through the internet, it was decided that the best way to go about it was by creating a niche,” said Jeramie Cavanaugh, marketing executive with Computer Cable Store™. “From that day to the present, Computer Cable Store™ specializes in marketing computer cables from different manufacturers. The main goal during the initial days of Computer Cable Store™ was to provide the customers with every possible type of computer cable, be it a Cat5e computer cable or a more versatile coaxial cable.”

The conference attendees had performed a systemic analysis before attending the press conference and surely, Computer Cable Store™ stocked computer cables for various purposes. “Since the startup, Computer Cable Store™ has grown slowly but surely, and today the company can proudly say that it has an asset list of all the computer cables available in the market,” concluded Jeramie Cavanaugh.

“Due to the success of the Networx™ computer cable niche, Computer Cable Store™ did begin going into uncharted horizons by adding various accessories like wall mounts and converters, but the customers still favor us for the diversity in the computer cable merchandise,” said George McDowell, product manager at Computer Cable Store™. When asked which computer cables sell the most, Jeramie Cavanaugh replied, “The sales of Cat6 and Cat5e computer cables are pretty neck and neck. However the sales of Cat5e bulk cables have been uniform throughout the venture.” The panel was inquired about the other computer cables that were prevalent on the storefront of Computer Cable Store™. “Yes,” said Jeramie Cavanaugh, “The Fiber optic computer cables and the Coaxial cables have also seen large sales. Even so, these segments are a bit segregated from the rest as they are used only in special circumstances. Nonetheless, Computer Cable Store™ receive consistent orders on all the lines of Networx™ computer cables.

So, what is next for Computer Cable Store™? “The company will keep on increasing the number of participating manufacturers as a recently performed market analysis has shown that some consumers favor a computer cable from a particular manufacturer. The company shall never leave the customer wanting, in any way,” said George McDowell. From the testimonials on their website, Computer Cable Store™ is no doubt reviewing every possible necessity that the customers might have. In addition to that, the company’s webmasters claim that it is one of the most secure places to buy computer cables and other accessories.

Laguna Tools Announces the New SmartShop 3 CNC Machining Center

Laguna Tools Announces the New SmartShop 3 CNC Machining Center

Irvine, California (PRWEB) August 15, 2014

Laguna Tools has recently announced the introduction of the NEW SmartShop 3 CNC Machining Center, developed to introduce an advanced technological platform for the next generation of Laguna CNC Machinery.

The machine features a new computer-designed frame that includes an all-welded structural steel base to ensure the accuracies and cut qualities that have remained key characteristics of the SmartShop CNC product line. Additionally, the new SmartShop’s structural steel gantry is internally reinforced, permitting the use of a variety of machining package options. Finally, a gantry-mounted carousel tool changer was added to reduce tool change times; an especially relevant feature on large table format machines.

The fluid movement of the Laguna SmartShop 3 CNC can be contributed to the precise machining of frame components, precision-ground contour guide rails in all axes, and top-notch “closed-loop” servos and drives by the innovative OSAI Open machine controller.

Movements on both X and Y axes are achieved with world-class helical rack-and-pinions driven by precision planetary drive systems. Z-axis motion is controlled by a precision-ground ball screw and the precision planetary drive system. Another benefit of using a planetary drive system is that it permits Laguna Engineering to mount the guide rails lower on the side of the base frames. This results in the tables easier for the machine operator to load and unload.

Included as a standard feature on the new SmartShop 3 models is a Laguna Tools designed “pod-ready” vacuum table, which combines with six vacuum zones, providing unbeatable fixturing possibilities. Part locator pins and extra -large vacuum ports have been included specifically for panel processing needs.

Another new innovation for the Laguna SmartShop 3 is the inclusion of the new OSAI Open machine control system. It includes a touch screen PC to provide a user-friendly GUI (Graphic User Interface). This also allows the machine to be connected to the local area network (LAN), making file transfers a breeze, while maintaining the reliability of a leading industrial CNC machine controller.

“I gave Laguna Engineering a challenge to develop the next generation SmartShop CNC,” said Torben Helshoj, President of Laguna Tools. “The design requirements were quite simple. It had to build on the tremendous success the SmartShop CNCs have enjoyed. It had to be a platform that would allow us to expand the CNC product line in a variety of directions (into the foreseeable future). It had to have the best vacuum table in the industry. It had to have a “full-feature” machine controller that was still easy-to-learn and easy-to-use and that could handle multi-axis applications. And, it had to be affordable. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of this project, the Laguna SmartShop 3! It truly expresses our company spirit, ‘Thriving on Innovation.’ I think the future is very bright for this product.”

The Laguna SmartShop 3 is available in a variety of standard table sizes including 4 x 4, 4 x 8, 5 x 10, and 5 x 12. Custom table sizes and machining packages can also accommodate special application needs.

Bop Design Announces Small Business New Year?s Resolution: Design a More Inviting Website

Bop Design Announces Small Business New Year’s Resolution: Design a More Inviting Website

Bop Design Announces Small Business New Year’s Resolution: Make Your Website More Inviting

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) December 31, 2012

According to Bop Design, a San Diego web design agency, the New Year is a good time for business owners to find out if their websites encourage visitors to leave.

“No business would intentionally ask customers to leave,” says Jeremy Durant, Business Principal at Bop Design. “But companies often act in ways that inadvertently or unintentionally drive customers away – both online and offline. We recommend that all small businesses make a New Year’s resolution to review their websites and make improvements that invite visitors to stay rather than encouraging them to leave.”

What can cause customers to leave a business? Long-winded marketing materials that inundate prospects with unwanted information. Automated phone prompt systems that anger and frustrate customers. Poorly trained customer service reps who can’t solve problems in a timely manner. Difficult or non-existent refund policies. These unthinking actions and policies send a subtle but powerful message to customers, “We don’t care.”

On websites, “we don’t care” messages aren’t quite so obvious. Yet, they still crop up in many different ways:

Fancy graphics that take forever to load. The latest technologies may look hip, slick and cool. But they often take time to load, especially for visitors with older computers or slow internet connections. Making people wait for a home page to load implies that the company’s time is more valuable than theirs.

Confusing and/or difficult navigation. Don’t make prospects and customers hunt for the information they want. People should be able to find what they’re looking for in two clicks or less.

Slow response time. When online customers have a problem, they want an answer now. If a company doesn’t respond to an email or online help request within 24 hours, customers are probably already looking for another business that will. At the very least, companies should acknowledge the email right away and promise to contact the sender as soon as possible.

Links that don’t work. Few things are more frustrating to site visitors than links that go to the wrong place or don’t work at all. When a website doesn’t work properly, prospects and customers wonder the same about the products or services on the site.

Low-quality videos. With today’s inexpensive digital cameras, anyone can throw together a video and post it on their website. But when companies put up cheap-looking, poorly produced videos, viewers will assume they put the same level of quality into their product or service.

Webinars and podcasts that promise more than they deliver. Today’s time-deprived viewers will not tolerate self-serving marketing pitches or delaying tactics. Even if a webinar or podcast is free, it had better deliver real value, and it had better do it quickly. Otherwise, listeners will click off and conduct their business with someone who shows more respect for their time.

Poorly designed shopping carts. Slow, cumbersome, and difficult-to-edit shopping carts rank high among online shopper complaints. When a company makes it hard for customers to buy on their site, they will go somewhere that doesn’t.

“Me, me, me…” content. No one likes to get stuck at a party with someone who talks only about themselves. When a website talks only about how great the business is, customers feel the same way. A website should always focus on the customer’s issues and concerns. Otherwise, visitors won’t stay on the site for long.

“Encouraging visitors to stay on your website isn’t hard,” says Durant. “Respect their time. Make it easy to find the information they want. Give them different ways to contact you if they have any problems or questions. Design the website around their needs, not yours.

“When your website shows you care, visitors will stay longer and buy more. And if your product or service delivers as promised, they will come back to your site and buy from you again.”

About Bop Design

Bop Design is a San Diego web design agency with offices also in the New York metro area. We express a business’ values through brand development, advertising, design and web design. We also help attract a firm’s ideal customer through search engine optimization and social media marketing services. Here is some more about our guest speaker: Simon P. Balm, Ph D.

A native of London, England, Simon Balm received his Batchelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Durham in 1988. He was awarded his Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from the University of Sussex in 1992, while working with Nobel Prize winning chemist Sir Harry Kroto.

After graduate school he spent two years as a NATO Postdoctoral Fellow in the UCLA astronomy Department. He followed up that tour with a four year term as a Postdoctoral fellow at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, MA. At the Harvard-Smithsonian Center he helped to design, build and install a radio telescope at the geographical South Pole. He wintered-over with the telescope at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole station during the 1996 austral winter.

After spending several years teaching as an Adjunct Professor at UCLA he joined Santa Monica College as a full time faculty member in 2000 where he is a Professor of Astronomy. He is currently working with renowned Santa Monica artist Lita Albuquerque on an art installation project planned for the South Pole Station in 2008.
