End to End Networks Launches New Connectivity Services – Dedicated MPLS Private and Internet Solutions

Markham, Ontario (PRWEB) January 24, 2013

End to End Networks’ new Broadband Service Solution offers a full range of networking options to support business connectivity demands. With a portfolio of services such as Business DSL, Cable, Wireless, T1 and E10/E100 fiber access, the new network is built on the best industry Carrier environments. Our wealth of experience of over twenty years in Managed and Professional Services has qualified us to be one of Canada’s largest, independent interconnects.

“Carrier providers need to step up their game and focus on managed and professional services, as simplification and standardization are key components of succeeding in today’s fast interconnected marketplace,” said Heath Freel, CTO, End to End Networks Inc. “In order to keep a competitive position, businesses need to emphasize on solutions that optimize application performance and improve productivity.”

Given the rising adoption of mobility, video, virtualization and cloud applications, businesses are increasingly struggling with complex network demands. Applications and data flows have changed and outdated network architectures can increase traffic delays dramatically, resulting in reduced application performance. The rising amount and complexity of network traffic for businesses requires comprehensive solutions that can prioritize and accelerate essential applications.

As technologies and networks have become very IP-centric, the creation of new provider “services” has been inevitable. Business networks are enabling security services, marketing, advertising services, building automation and energy management services, and more. Today, IT has evolved from the back office component to a core operational principal that improves business functionality.

With flexible bandwidth, interface and architectural options, the new Dedicated MPLS Private Network and Internet Service offers a simple product selection, end-to-end national coverage, 24/7 bilingual technical support and simplified billing options.

“We are very excited about this new edge to our business. It falls in line with our Managed Services initiatives and in addition to our existing solutions, it extends End to End Networks’ reach and offers a complete technology solution” Heath Freel, CTO, End to End Networks, Inc.

Genting Casinos UK wins with Exinda?s WAN optimization solutions

Genting Casinos UK wins with Exinda’s WAN optimization solutions

Andover, MA (Vocus) June 16, 2010

Exinda, a global provider of WAN optimization solutions, today announced that Genting Casinos UK Ltd., part of the multinational Genting Group resorts and casinos, has selected Exinda’s products to manage and accelerate network traffic across its organization. The Exinda solutions have enabled Genting Casinos to manage and reduce traffic on its network and guarantee the performance of revenue-generating applications.

“Our continued business growth will be heavily dependent on our ability to deliver on the next generation of applications that will enhance customers’ experience and loyalty,” said Max Lintott, head of IT, Genting Casinos UK Ltd. “We selected the Exinda solutions after an exhaustive trial and evaluation process. The Exinda product delivered on the promise of true ‘plug and play’ installation, and provided not only the network optimization we needed, but acceleration of many of the customer-facing applications on our networks. We were also very pleased with the Exinda licensing model, which allowed us to incorporate Exinda with minimal impact on our infrastructure costs.”

Following the evaluation process, Genting Casinos deployed the Exinda solutions across its entire network infrastructure for optimization of its online applications, service oriented environments, real time streaming and synchronization and other mission critical systems and applications. Among the customer-facing systems supported by the Exinda products is Genting Casinos’ loyalty program, which requires financial transactions to be conducted securely and seamlessly over the networks.

“Our systems must guarantee the synchronization and security of our loyalty card program, which enables our members to earn gaming loyalty points which they can redeem with affiliates or use as gaming points. Customers can also add cash to their loyalty cards to use at our casinos,” said Lintott.”We simply cannot afford for any erroneous application or file transfer to impede the process of adding or spending cash or points using these cards. Our network must ensure these transactions are reflected in as near real time as possible for the customer, while supporting the mirroring of systems between the actual casino and head office.”

The Exinda solution has also enabled Genting Casinos to access detailed reporting on its network, including monitoring in-house applications, mirroring and software-as-a-service (SAAS) applications as well as HTTP traffic in the network. By allowing Genting Casinos to prioritize its traffic, Exinda’s solutions have resulted in a 45% reduction in network traffic, and an 80% reduction in the Common Internet File System (CIFS), a common protocol that lets programs make requests for files and services on remote computers on the Internet.

“Genting Casinos requested a trial of our products, without the support of Exinda or our global network of partners, and we were more than happy to oblige,” said Kevin Suitor, Vice President of Marketing, Exinda. “The true plug and play capabilities and ease of installation were quickly proven when the customer installed the device in their live network and saw an immediate improvement in network performance. Based on this initial experience, Exinda has become a trusted technology provider for Genting Casinos, and is providing support as they plan the next phase of its infrastructure improvements.”

StatSoft Releases STATISTICA Version 10 Analytics Solutions

StatSoft Releases STATISTICA Version 10 Analytics Solutions

Tulsa, OK (PRWEB) January 18, 2011

STATISTICA 10 introduces numerous new features and capabilities that take full advantage of Intel® multi-core processor technology regarding performance, data connectivity, graphics, and data analysis and predictive modeling, including:

         Significant performance and scalability improvements
New modeling capabilities, e.g., procedures for credit and insurance risk modeling
Even more flexible and scalable graphics
         Microsoft SharePoint integration
         Direct connection to OLAP cubes

A key performance goal for the STATISTICA 10 analytic platform was to utilize the capabilities of Intel’s latest multi-core processor technology. STATISTICA software is built with the latest generation of software development tools, and all performance-critical data processing and data analysis/modeling algorithms in STATISTICA have been redesigned to take full advantage of the Intel multicore architecture to ensure best-in-class performance against the exponentially growing data volumes expected over the next decade.

StatSoft’s VP for Platform Development George Butler says: “StatSoft’s strong relationship with Intel and our focus on taking full advantage of their latest processor technologies have enabled us to achieve data processing performance that was unthinkable only a few years ago.”

Asked what that means for StatSoft’s clients, Dr. Thomas Hill, VP for Analytic Solutions, replies that “StatSoft’s clients running the STATISTICA solutions on the latest Intel-based hardware can solve analytic and predictive modeling tasks three to four times faster, even on twice or three times the data volume, and this performance will only accelerate as Intel continues to chase Moore’s law.”

“In today’s fast-paced, technology-oriented world, the software business is a growing and highly competitive environment and StatSoft’s new flagship platform demonstrates continued success with high-performance analysis, modeling, and reporting,” said J. Scott Harrison, Director, Developer and ISV Scale Programs, Intel Software and Services Group . “The Intel Software Partner Program is a venue for collaboration between the hardware and software community resulting in innovative solutions and more choices for consumers.”
