Amped Wireless Debuts Business-Class High Power AC1750 Wi-Fi Solutions with Centralized Management

Chino Hills, CA (PRWEB) January 06, 2015

Amped Wireless, the leading manufacturer of high power, long range wireless solutions for the home and office, today announced the launch of the APR175P and REB175P business class, high power Wi-Fi solutions. The APR175P is a High Power AC1750 Wi-Fi Access Point / Router and the REB175P is a High Power AC1750 Wi-Fi Range Extender / Bridge. These business class devices can provide up to 8,000 square feet of Wi-Fi coverage and are designed for complex networks that demand long range coverage, high performance Wi-Fi speeds, advanced security features and centralized management for large deployments. They are each equipped with premium feature sets that make them ideal for the most unique of networks.

Both the ProSeries APR175P and REB175P are equipped with twelve high power amplifiers and three high gain external antennas for up to 500mW of Wi-Fi output power (standard Wi-Fi devices feature 100mW of output power). This combination of Amped Wireless High Power technology, combined with blazing-fast AC1750 Wi-Fi technology delivers unmatched range and speed performance. They are assembled with the highest quality components and tested under the strictest standard to ensure reliability and performance under demanding business environments.

The Pro Series High Power AC1750 Access Point / Router is multifaceted, it is built with a unique set of 5 different modes. Router Mode allows it to act as a high power, long range Wi-Fi Router. Access Point Mode is when the device is wired to an existing network to add long range, secure Wi-Fi to any network. With WDS-AP Mode you can connect multiple Access Points together, wirelessly, to deliver wired and wireless Internet access across a large area. And for more intricate, larger networks – the APR175P can be placed in Controller Mode or Managed Mode. Controller Mode allows for remote management of up to 7 access points simultaneously that are configured in Managed mode. This allows for swift, simultaneous updates and control of a more broad and complex network.

The Pro Series High Power AC1750 Range Extender / Bridge features 4 different modes; Universal Range Extender Mode to extend the range of any network, Firewall Range Extender Mode is used to secure an extended network with firewall settings, Bridge Mode and WDS-Bridge mode for extending a WDS-AP network.

The ProSeries solutions support advanced security features with the ability to support up to 32 Wi-Fi networks, each with unique security and access configurations. Each Wi-Fi network features smart security features that allow for the isolation of connecting devices, bandwidth restrictions, network access restrictions, VLANs, max users settings, MAC filtering, access schedules and much more. The two gigabit ports on both the APR175P and the REB175P also feature customized VLAN settings and bandwidth controls. Intrusion detection systems and RADIUS servers (internal and external) are also provided for maximum security.

Deploying the ProSeries High Power Solutions is simple with Power over Ethernet support and magnetic or wall based mounting options. Graphical maps with customizable floor plans and coverage areas, along with analytics for each access point make installation and management easy for anyone.

“We are excited to reach out to more professional users and businesses with the introduction of these ProSeries High Power devices,” said Lacey Neddo, Brand/Marketing Manager of Amped Wireless. “These new additions to our ProSeries line are enabling us to share our High Power technology and industry-leading range capabilities with larger business network teams and we’re very pleased to enter this new space in the market and humbled to be able to make this expansion.”

The ProSeries High Power AC1750 Range Extender / Bridge and Access Point / Router will both be available for order early 2015. From today through January 9th, at CES 2015, Amped Wireless will be displaying the APR175P and REB175P along with other long range Wi-Fi products at its booth, located in South Hall 4, Booth #36533 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Riverscape Introduces Colorado to New Business Model For PC, Wireless & Internet Consulting Services

Riverscape Introduces Colorado to New Business Model For PC, Wireless & Internet Consulting Services

Denver, CO (PRWEB) June 1, 2005

Riverscape, the digital lifestyle company, announced today the company has expanded its PC, Wireless and Internet consulting services into Denver and Boulder, serving consumers and small businesses. The company is introducing its services in Colorado with a special promotion offering on-site wireless and digital media consulting, uniquely priced as a monthly subscription service.

Riverscape’s founder and chief VoIP architect, Ronald Lewis, launched the company when he realized there was a whole new market opportunity traditional tech consulting companies either hadn’t thought of or decided to ignore.

“A lot of people are hesitant to use the full multimedia and Internet capabilities of their PCs. First, there’s an obvious lack of knowledge,” said Lewis. “But underneath that is the perception that technology evolves at such a fast pace, they’ll never understand it at more than a basic level.”

Lewis continued, “And frankly, the typical technical support company doesn’t go out of its way to change those beliefs. Rather, keep the client’s business by reinforcing the idea that technology is a minefield best left for the professionals to navigate. Provide hardware and installation services, but don’t try to educate – just wait for the inevitable call the next time something goes wrong.”

With wireless computing and Internet phone services like Vonage becoming increasingly visible to the public, many would-be users are unsure if the advertisements promising anywhere wireless Internet usage or drastically reduced long distance phone bills are a reality. Or which service to pick, or what hardware is needed, how to install it and effectively use either.

Riverscape’s mission is to completely change the client’s mindset about his or her ability to use the Internet’s powerful, low cost communication tools.

The company sends its trainers to individual and small business clients who want to take advantage of communicating via the Internet through long distance calling and faxing, wireless computing, or sharing data through websites and blogs, but are unsure where to start – or how. Riverscape trainers guide their clients through the entire process – from acquiring the right service, software or hardware, to confidently using the new capability.

“We lead them ‘into the light,’ so to speak. We teach them how to embrace the digital lifestyle,” Lewis said. “And we do this in person, where they are most comfortable – in their home or office location.”

Riverscape also offers traditional and remote technical consulting services like PC problem resolution and network support – and indeed, that’s how the company is often introduced to its clients. But Riverscape’s consultants make a point of educating their clients on what caused the problems and how to avoid or resolve them in the future.

As a special incentive to attract the Colorado market, Riverscape is currently offering techical support and training services in the client’s home or office at a subscription rate starting as low as $ 35 a month for consumers and $ 150 a month for small business owners – considerably less than the average phone bill for either.

Clients will also be able to use Riverscape as their one-stop shop for broadband phone and other VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) services and hardware, wireless computing, and even website and blog domain registration.
