World Premiere of “CHANGE: The Brain and Divinity” Held in Sedona

Executive Producer Ilchi Lee at the world premiere of his latest film “CHANGE: the Brain and Divnity”

(PRWEB) October 20, 2014

Ilchi Lee’s latest film, “CHANGE: The Brain and Divinity,” was met with warm applause at a Red Carpet Event at the Sedona Creative Life Center on Thursday, October 9, 2014, where nearly 200 people gathered.

The film, which is a sequel to last year’s “CHANGE: The LifeParticle Effect,” explores the idea that the potential for human greatness lies within the human brain. Executive Producer Ilchi Lee calls that greatness divinity, and suggests that everyone has the potential to be great if they know how to use that aspect of their brain.

The event, hosted by the Sedona Meditation Center and local media company Change Your Energy, began with a buffet in the center’s courtyard and a book signing by author Rebecca Tinkle. Tinkle’s novel, “The Secret of Mago Castle,” is a spiritual adventure set in Sedona, AZ. Inspired by Ilchi Lee’s Brain Education method, the book suggests what the destiny of the human race would be if it fulfilled its highest potential.

Audience members were comprised of Sedona Meditation Center students, fans of Ilchi Lee’s works including his bestselling book “The Call of Sedona” and his first film “CHANGE: The LifeParticle Effect,” out of town visitors and members of the Sedona community.

One attendee named Lonnie, who years ago sustained a brain injury that left him with intermittent memory loss, said, “I had just seen the flyer for the film that afternoon and was intrigued. The film reminded me that I am more than my memories. I am able to heal my brain, expand and grow forward no matter what the past held for me.”

The film’s main premise is what Ilchi Lee coined the Brain Operating System or BOS, which he compared to a computer operating system. With animations and dramatic reenactments, the film described five principles on which the BOS runs, which by practicing them, can be the key to unlocking the true potential of humankind.

These concepts were reinforced by real-world examples of people applying the principles of BOS, both in the United States and in Lee’s native South Korea. Spiritual and brain education thought leaders weighed in on what BOS could mean for the future of humanity and the planet.

After the film, Ilchi Lee gave a talk about his personal journey from Korea to Sedona via Los Angeles and the early struggles with school studies that inspired him to seek a better way to educate the whole person—body, mind and soul.

Rebecca Tinkle concluded the evening with a reading of a passage from her novel, reinforcing the film’s message of hope for humanity’s ability to awaken to their divine consciousness in the present era.

Nearly One in Five U.S. Adults Are Concerned that the World Will End on December 21, 2012 According to Backblaze Survey

Nearly One in Five U.S. Adults Are Concerned that the World Will End on December 21, 2012 According to Backblaze Survey

San Mateo, CA (PRWEB) December 13, 2012

Backblaze, leading provider of continuous online backup, today released the findings of a survey conducted online on their behalf by Harris Interactive among over 3,000 U.S. adults. The study examines people’s general concerns going into the New Year and regrets in the event of the Apocalypse on December 21, 2012. The survey was commissioned in light of the ever-increasing dialogue around the Mayan calendar ending and the apocalyptic consequences that people think this may bring about. Backblaze, naturally, advocates that if the world does not end on this date, it is vital to have a backup plan going forward.

While, nearly one in five (16%) U.S. adults report they are at least somewhat concerned that the world will in fact end on December 21, 2012; their primary concerns are a bit more mundane. Nearly three out of four (73%) people showed at least some level of concern for losing files on their computer (e.g. documents, photos, music) and nearly one half (47%) reported they are extremely/fairly concerned about digital file loss. Losing family photos also showed a strong response, with 70% reporting that this was of at least some concern.

“While this survey was commissioned as a bit tongue-in-cheek, at Backblaze we hear from people every day who feel as though their world is collapsing when they have lost precious files, photos and documents. We founded Backblaze because we recognized the importance of helping people have a ‘backup plan’ to ensure that every piece of data, no matter the size, is continuously, safely and securely backed up.

We had a surge of customers recently that we were able to help rebuild their digital life following loss and damage to their computers from Hurricane Sandy. This study demonstrates just how devastating losing files on one’s computer can be,” said Gleb Budman, CEO and co-founder of Backblaze.

When asked if the apocalypse were truly coming on this date, what regrets would people have, if any, 70% reported that they would have some regret. Not traveling more was cited most often by U.S. adults with nearly one-third (32%) reporting to have this regret, which was followed closely by those who regretted not spending more time with their families (30%). Nearly one in four people (23%) reported that they would regret not following their dreams and spending too much time worrying about money (22%). And one in four men (25%) would regret not having had more sex if the Mayan prediction proves true. Interestingly, only 10% of women surveyed would have the same regret.

Other interesting facts to note from the survey include:

Over half (51%) of employed U.S. adults are at least somewhat concerned on some level about losing their job in 2013.
40% expressed at least some concern that they were entering the New Year having not followed through with their 2012 New Year’s resolutions.
Nearly one in five (14%) U.S. adults would regret working too much if the world came to an end on December 21, 2012 and 11% would regret spending so much time worrying too much about their weight.

In the event that the world is going to be around for a while, Backblaze would like people to know that its service is the easiest way to backup all their data online. It requires no user set up; backs up unlimited data, and can also help locate a lost or stolen computer all for just five dollars per month. Backblaze’s service delivers peace of mind with the assurance that users can access their files, any time, from any computer with an Internet connection. Redemtech Helps KINfolk Connect Seriously Ill Children with Outside World

Redemtech Helps KINfolk Connect Seriously Ill Children with Outside World

Columbus, Ohio (PRWEB) September 9, 2008 -–

Redemtech, (http://www.redemtech.com), a world leader in IT asset disposition and Technology Change Management (TCM) services, is helping KINfolk and a top five pharmaceutical corporation expand the drug company’s laptop computer donations program to benefit seriously ill children. KINfolk is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.

Based on the success of similar contributions in the past, the pharmaceutical company will donate 100 additional IBM T41 computers to KINfolk, with most of the units provided to young patients at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. KINfolk, based in Wilmington, Del., uses technology such as laptop computers and Internet access to help connect seriously ill children to their families, friends and other online opportunities.

Redemtech, which is the first commercial Community Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher (CMAR) in North America, will install Windows XP Professional operating systems (OS) and the Microsoft Office Suite on all of the donated laptops for a $ 5 administration fee per software application.

“This latest donation will allow more than 5,000 ill and injured children annually—who otherwise may not have had the opportunity—to communicate with the outside world,” said Robert Houghton, president and CEO of Redemtech. “Providing laptops for these young patients truly reinforces the value that a donation program can have for others.”

Because Redemtech has been able to minimize OS and imaging costs, KINfolk is able to use grants and funding to expand their valuable service to additional homes and facilities throughout the country.

“Everyone from young children to parents can use the computers to stay in touch with the outside world—whether they are communicating with friends, providing updates on the child’s condition, paying bills or keeping pace with school work,” said Melinda McGuigan, KINfolk’s executive director.

Redemtech worked with KINfolk to provide the specifications for the PCs received and the OS installed to complete the paperwork required to ensure eligibility in the Community Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher program.

KINfolk participates in Redemtech’s TakeBack program, which provides free asset recovery and recycling services at the donated systems’ end of life. The program not only saves recycling fees, but it ensures the electronic waste is disposed of in a safe manner.

“We believe that all IT equipment should be recycled, and this type of contribution enables companies of all sizes to put outdated equipment to use to meet others’ needs,” McGuigan said.

About KINfolk

Since 1999, KINfolk has been lending laptop computers and Internet access to children whose lives have been disrupted by disease and injury. Working with corporate donors, the non-profit organization provides laptop computers, operating systems, Internet access and filters and tracking software to children and families nationwide to keep them in touch with their support network at a time when they need it most. Cheap Computers: The world of Computers now in reach of all hands

Article by Jacob Marshal

The modern day customer is in no mood to suppress his choices when it comes to attaining complete value for his money. The world of computers is no exception to these universal phenomena.

The computer world of today offers no scope for a product manufacturer to stick to the traditional/obsolete techniques of production and advertising. This clearly means that no manufacturer can survive for long in this cut-throat competitive world of today unless he is willing to accept the changes taking place in today’s market world.

A prospective computer buyer must consider factors such as overall quality, warranty, performance, price, substitute products and compatibility with operating systems, applications and software. Before that, a complete and comprehensive market study of the traditional as well as the online market is highly recommended since that ensures a fair deal. A detailed and comprehensive study of the traditional as well as the online market can indeed help a prospective customer. Similarly, the advice of friends, relatives and colleagues can also prove crucial before the purchase deal is signed.

The present day market is flooded with products that line up to grab the attention of the customers. This, in fact, makes the task of the customers a lot more complicated since he needs to make his choices and the choice is just unlimited. The availability of so many products means that the customer needs to be extra-conscious when dealing or indulging with cheap computer purchase.

The world of computers has benefited from several factors such as the positive market trends, emergence of new market players, intense competition and innovations. In addition to these factors, the favourable market trends along with governmental policies have also contributed to the unprecedented growth and popularity to the world of cheap computers.

The most popular source of such information is the Internet. A prospective customer can easily have access to all the relevant information on the Internet so as to enable him to get the right deal.

Thus, it can be easily concluded that a prospective customer of cheap computers must prioritise his needs and preferences before going into the market. This will surely help him to find a “fair and reasonable deal” besides helping him to get reasonable bargains.
